Behind the works of Acid Pool is Sami Zindel. Her intention in starting Acid Pool began with a dream. The dream to start a different wave of metal. As a woman in the metal scene things can be difficult but her ability to push through this has shown in her work.  When starting this journey there was many obstacles. She has been through lots of training in many different genres of music since the age of seven. These genres include everything from pop to jazz to hard rock. She has had many opportunities in the professional music world including, singing at various sports games like the US Open, voiceovers and commericals, and even collaborating and recording with Philadelphia's own Zymotic Flow. As a high school graduate in New Jersey she set her sights on California. When beginning her journey at the Musicians Institute of Hollywood, she had many expectations and hopes for what she would become. Through working with various teachers, she has come up with her own signature sound when it comes to harsh vocals. Additionally she has perfected her craft in vocals full circle. This has been a vital component in her current status as a Vocal Teacher at Stage One Music in Simi Valley. Without the knowledge and expertise of her many mentors this would have been just a fantasy.  Sami's outlook for the future has been the most important thing since the beginning. With this being said, Acid Pool will be bringing something unexpected this year. Try your best to stay afloat with the flesh eating pool pulling you under.
